The Camino Chicago

Join The Camino Project on October 10th for their fall Camino de Chicago pilgrimage!

On this pilgrimage they will be venturing through Bridgeport and Chinatown, visiting some of the most beautiful and historic parishes in Chicago! On this pilgrimage the Universal Church is truly on display as we'll be visiting Irish, Polish, Italian, Croatian, Hispanic parishes, and a vibrant Benedictine Monastery! The pilgrimage will end with the Saturday Vigil Mass at St. Mary of Perpetual Help (truly a gem of Catholic Chicago), and wrap up with an pilgrim dinner in their Catacomb Cafe.

This year we will be joined by two very special guests: His Excellency Bishop Joseph Perry will issue his blessing send us forth from our starting point at Nativity of Our Lord Church. Also, our 2025 scholarship recipient Isabela will be walking with us and joining us for dinner, where she'll share some stories from the Camino, as well as her experience with The Camino Project.

All pilgrims will receive a pilgrims passport which will be stamped with the parish seal at each stop and our version of the "Compostela Certificate" will be issued at the end. Our materials are custom designed and unique to each Camino de Chicago pilgrimage, and made with keepsake quality. The certificate is in Latin, and has been authored by His Excellency Bishop Joseph Perry.

Pilgrimage only (adults): $25
Pilgrimage + dinner (adults): $40
Pilgrimage only (minors): Free
Dinner (minors): $15

The team is 100% composed of volunteers, so all funds go towards our mission of providing all-expense-paid pilgrimage scholarships for young adult Catholics to walk the Camino Frances! The Camino Project does not receive any grants, institutional support, or support from major donors- we solely raise funds for our mission by organizing great, one-of-a-kind events like this!
We hope to see you there!

God Bless and Buen Camino!
